A great cut by Eboni as always! I haven't been going to this salon long, as only recently moved to the area, but the two cuts I have had, I have been so impressed with. Eboni listens to what you would like, but is also not afraid to tell you if a different style or cut would suit you more, and is al...ways happy to adjust as she goes. Because of this, her haircuts are the best I have ever had and I have received so many compliments on my hair. She is great company as well, which always helps! The salon itself is gorgeous, and you definitely feel you are getting a luxury service. The price also reflects this, but for the quality of the haircut, you can't begrudge this. Harriet was lovely, and really skilled. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my waist length hair, an...d so indecisive. But she helped me choose, didn't make me feel rushed, and the end result didn't even look like my hair, I've never seen it looking so nice! Also the setting is beautiful, the salon itself is really nicely laid out, lovely relaxing atmosphere, and honestly I expected I'd have to pay a lot more than I did for high end service like this. I will definitely be back, and I think Harriet has given me the confidence to go for the pixie cut I've wanted to try for years, thank so much Harriet! read more
I had a balayage, strengthening treatment, cut and blowdry done by Ben. He was super nice and he did an amazing job and explained loads of stuff to me. My hair is very dark brown and I wanted it overall lighter and he smashed that out of the park. The blowdry made me feel like some glamorous star; I... am nowhere near that skill level and my "styling" routine involves maybe putting some products in my hair, moving the blow dryer around without rhyme or reason until I get bored, and hoping for the best. Despite this, the cut and colour is done with such skill that I feel my hair still looks great in its 'wild' form! I have attached photos of my hair styled expertly by Ben, and also after a wash by me (the lighting in both is a bit different but you get the idea). I have received soooo many compliments and I am really happy with it. Also, the salon is so luxurious, I was taken to a mezzanine style waiting area and had a delicious hot chocolate and read my book while the dye did its stuff. Very relaxing! read more
Lovely salon, very clean, modern in a lovely area. I had a cut and blow dry done by Harriet and I loved it. I am usually very stressed when it comes to haircuts and Harriet made the experience so pleasant and smooth and the result is great. Can't recommend enough!
I've been to this salon twice now for myself and once with my 3 year old and it's safe to say I won't be going elsewhere now. Anna has done my hair and I've loved each time. Went here for the first time after a recommendation from a friend and was really happy. Very friendly staff who listened to exactly what I wanted. Lovely seating area whilst you're waiting for your colour and a free chilled and hot drinks selection. I went here Monday and was so well looked after. I am totally deaf without my hearing aids and the young trainee (so sorry I forgot your name,) was so accommodating, he listened to what I wanted done, explained a treatment I had and even gave a head massage while it was being washed. I came out extr...emely happy with my hair, and all through the cut the trainee, Tony checked his work, so I was very impressed. I look forward to going again. Thank you. I can't stress enough what a great find this salon was for me. My hair was a horrible mix of blonde and brassy tones and the condition was not good- despite only having color done professionally, at my previous salon. I managed to get an appointment with Troy -AKA 'The Wizard' - and couldn't believe... the difference between the before and after pics. I now have a beautiful colour and a style that just falls into place. The condition is so much better even after the bleach (and all Troy's treatments)- than before. Absolutely delighted. The lovely girl on reception Fay, also remembered (3 weeks later) that I was trying to get a longer appointment and called me to offer a cancellation- they cant do enough for you here. I had a full-head highlights, cut and blow-dry with Emma Louise this week and I could not have been happier with the results. The colour looks amazing - lockdown roots are no more! This is my 3rd time seeing Emma and I'm always so impressed. She understands wavy/curly hair and takes the time to ensu...re the cut and colour are flawless. Also, the salon have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of clients and staff. They have a very efficient system in place and I doubt you'd find a more spacious salon in the area. It's a little pricier than salons I've visited in the past, but I've had the best results here, so it's worth it for me. Overall, I highly recommend AJS, Emma in particular! read more
