Get To Know Our New Stylist, Helen!

Hi everyone, I’m Helen! I decided to become a full-time hairstylist after first getting to work with hair within my career as an actress/musical theatre performer in London. Following a stint in the world of teaching, I decided to take my passions for all things creative and artistic and apply them to my love of hair just under 5 years ago!

I have received excellent training from big industry names such as Sassoon Academy London, Wella, Davines, Showpony, L’Oréal and Kerastase during my time working in London and Surrey based salons. I was fortunate enough to join the AJS Senior Team just a couple of months ago, following a move back towards my hometown and family in the Midlands.

My main goal when behind the chair is to make you feel empowered, relaxed and confident whilst giving you hair that is perfectly bespoke for you and your hair dreams. I have a special love for curly, textured hair, bold colours and precise cuts, but everyone is welcome! Whether it’s a sharpen up of your cut, a new approach to your colour or a complete transformation you’re after, I’m your girl!
