The Spring Edit: What’s New at The Salon?
The Latest News at AJS Salons in Lichfield
We've had a very busy first few months of the year. We always get so much done in January, lots of training to ensure we are remaining at the very top of what we do and always a big team meeting where we look back at the previous year and set our intentions and goals for the coming year both individually and as a team.
We have also invested in 4 new backwash, as some of you may have noticed, and our footstools to add extra comfort will be with us soon. This, together with our new tech (in the form of our state of the art hair and scalp camera the "kscan"), means we have invested thousands already this year in upgrading what we do and ensuring we offer only the best service and comfort to you.
AJS Awards Winners - Drumroll Please!
Another big event that happens at the start of every February is our AJS Awards Night, a night of celebrating all that's been in the 12 months before, and there has been loads! This years winners were:

Kicking Off the Year with Momentum & New Milestones
We've started the year with the same energy, both in the salon and in the work that we do beyond it. Last year brought so much success and so many highlights and we want this year to be the same.
Troy's year with the fellowship FAME team started with a bang - working on shows at London Fashion week and he is soon to travel to Germany where he will be on stage inspiring hundreds of hairdressers from across Europe. How amazing that from our Staffordshire home we are making waves at this level of the industry.
We have also done our photoshoot for this years L'Oreal Colour Trophy. If you remember we have had multiple people in the grand final of this prestigious event in the last few years, last year having 4 of our stylists there. Fingers crossed we get the same kind of success this year.
Jeff has been representing Kerastase and ourselves up and down the country as one of the chosen few Kerastase specialists in the country. He's been interviewed for industry press and attended events to showcase all things Kerastase and the new kscan camera. Those who have been in Jeff's company will know just what an expert he is in hair and scalp health and all things Kerastase.
Empowering Stylists & Salon Leaders Across the Country
And finally, I have been travelling up and down the country delivering education to hairdressers, salon owners and managers. Already this year I have had multiple dates in London as well as Leeds, Newcastle and the Champneys group and soon I will be travelling to Scotland, too. Already this year I have had nearly 300 people attend my education days where I hope to inspire stylists to deliver better service and owners to deliver better leadership.
It's all so inspiring and fulfilling to see how our brand (and all of those within it!) are excelling. We really are at the very top of what we do and will strive to always be there. All of it means that we can deliver the very best hairdressing and experience to you, that's always our focus. Not only do we deliver it within our brand, but we are also helping to level up the whole industry.
